this is my adorable 4-month old niece teagan who is the official Room6 baby tester…when I was in san fran (blog updates coming later today about the trip!) i found so many wonderful new goodies for babies & kids! the test was…”is this teagan worthy?” i can’t wait for the new goodies to arrive–stay tuned!

i’m heading to san francisco to (hopefully) discover some fresh west coast goodies, meet with some new designers, do some shopping, attend the SF gift show and maybe even *squeeze* in a facial at bliss spa…we’ll see! this was a last minute trip…short and sweet–I’m back in the shop on thursday! stay tuned as i report back on my treasure finding mission! kait will be holding down the fort!

My friend Stephanie and I are going on a little city field trip today to find materials for our next crafty project…I’m going to attempt to make a felt mobile for my little niece Teagan. Teagan, if you’re reading this, keep your expectations low. She’s only 5 months old, so hopefully she’ll understand…anyway, I will keep you posted! This book along with a quick felting tutorial from Kimberley (thanks!) inspired me…

I am really excited about some of the new D.I.Y. kits and books coming for Fall, but I’m also *really* enjoying summer, so take your time fall, we’re in no rush…

you won’t catch me on the trails of the north shore on this one, but Rich (hubby) got me this for my birthday (back in March)…it’s a vintage Raleigh and it actually has a Vancouver Bike Registration sticker on it from 1957! It’s happily sitting in front of the shop and OX loves to ride around in the basket.
