today one of my neighbor’s daughters had the cutest little lemonade stand set up. they even cut out lemons from yellow construction paper to hang around the umbrella. oh, did i mention today is the hottest day EVER in vancouver. needless to say, a cold glass of lemonade sure hit the spot! so i guess i’ve got lemons (& ice) on the brain. check out this recipe for frozen lemonade from miss martha herself.

okay, i’m not really booing. i mean, i really enjoy the sun. but it’s been hot. really hot. and it would be nice if mother nature turned down the heat. just a little.

it’s two bucks to park in stanley park for an hour. i love going there on rainy days when you feel like you have the entire magical park to yourself. a toonie goes a long way sometimes…

so much for late june…how’s early july sound? this blog will be back to um, blogging real soon. first i have to try and clean the dirt from under my fingernails so i don’t mess-up my pretty macbook with my dirty fingers. (been weeding a lot lately.)
