this time of year i find myself dreaming up all sorts of ideas for outdoor projects. last year, we painted our little house and did a massive weeding & landscaping project. blackberry trees & weeds out, river rock and ground cover in (we rented and filled one of those massive garbage bins with weeds).

this spring/summer, the projects on my list are more fun:

• window boxes
• outdoor reading nook/comfy lounge area
• container gardening
• plant pretty flowers
• grass in our backyard (this one won’t be fun but our poor lawn has been taken over by moss)

i’m trying to leave the house early this morning to go check out the fall Soia & Kyo coat collection, but instead, i’m checking out blogs and reading emails. this is one of the many reasons I’M ALWAYS LATE.

anyhoo, poppytalk had a link to this blog and i’ve decided katie is my new web crush. OMG. the colour. the inspired ideas. the sense of humor. LUV. (thanks for making me late for my meetings jan!)

as a small business owner, i love seeing other small businesses doing something special. this website/blog/trailer/shop/photography/story/etc./etc. from enjoy cupcakes in california is just lovely. and i’m guessing the cupcakes taste pretty darn sweet too.

i’ve had a trailer fantasy for awhile now and after seeing this i think i MUST have one. not sure exactly what i’d do with it (details…), but i’m sure i’d think of something.
