creamsicle

well, this week sure has gotten away from me.

i’m in the weeds.

really. deep. weeds.

the upcoming web launch is taking its toll.

lots of late nights and early mornings.

followed by late nights and early mornings.

and pizza.

and beer.

and of course, sweets.

today i had gummy bears for lunch and ice cream for dinner.

YUM!

sorry for the lack of tweeting/blogging/facebooking.

in other news, isn’t this creamsicle glassybaby sweet?

thought these creamsicle cupcakes were pretty cute too.

but i should probably lay off the sugar.

tape!

if you’ve ever ordered a special thing from us online, you might have noticed we sometimes have really cute tape on the box.

yesterday we received a new order from petit collage in san fran and there are now 4 great designs.

the mustard is my favorite (it’s my favorite colour), but they’re all sweet! $8.95/roll

look who just hopped to the cove

i’d seen this bunny lamp on blogs…and then in person at liberty of london last year.

one of my lovely customers clipped out an article for me which featured them too (thanks carol!)

apparently they looked like something i would like.

um, yeah.

they’re bunnies.

and lamps.

at long last these bunnies have hopped themselves all the way from germany (where they’re made) to deep cove.

they’ll be online soon! $95

cherry blossoms in the cove

i shot this in panorama park on my walk home from the shop last night.

the cherry blossoms signal spring.

but,

we’ve been having some strange weather here lately.

not sure if we should be planning picnics or tobogganing.

stripes are nice

we’ve just received these super soft bamboo striped shirts from yala in oregon as well as a new striped tunic.

more stripes are expected to arrive any day from curator in SF.

and our friday morning smoking lily delivery will have stripes too.

my apologies for this:

but, for some reason i have the olivia newton john song: “let’s get physical” stuck in my head.

it gets worse.

i’m replacing the word “physical” with “nautical”

happy friday!

they’re selling so quickly i haven’t had a chance to get them online yet.

  • each critter comes completely out of the egg.
  • they’re made with love in vancouver by iveta.
  • we have dinosaurs, penguins, a bumble bee (!) and a turtle left.
  • we’re hoping for more…
  • iveta is just getting started & handpicked Room6 to be the first retailer for her special things.
