we’ll be open 12-5 on canada day (friday, july 1) and then regular hours the rest of the long weekend.

miss A is away so you’ll have to deal with me though…

bunting flags are one of those things i never seem to get tired of.

what can i say, i love me some bunting flags.

last night rich & i crossed the bridge and headed over to nicli antica just outside of gastown for some pizza. yum! they’re open 7 days a week from 11:30 to midnight. we enjoyed the pizza, beer, salads and service & i always enjoy walking around gastown.

while we’ve got several orders stuck coming & going with the canada post strike, we’ve also got some lovely new arrivals from just across the bridge.

this is one of my favorite summer blouses from vancouver designer allison wonderland ($149). i wear mine nice and flowy with skinny jeans, but i’ve seen allison wearing it belted with leggings and it looks amazing.

our clothing section is actually filling in quite nicely in the shop, but i’m having a heck of time taking good pictures for the website. turns out shooting a mug is much easier than shooting a blouse. i need a model.

today is first day of summer! i just visited the lovely marianne at deep cove gelato express. you should too!
