the bunnies in our window have been stopping traffic! it’s fun to watch people walk by, then walk backwards to have a look and then come in to give the bunnies a hug! seriously, to know these bunnies is to love them!
A big BIG thanks to my friend Nancy who helped me put up (I suppose the correct term would be “hang”) wallpaper last week! I just love it and could not have done it alone! It’s an Orla Kiely design (one of my favorite designers) and I can’t wait until her Fall collection arrives (yes, it’s coming to deep cove & room6.com!).
Well, that’s not true. I can wait until after we have a gorgeous Spring followed by an incredible summer filled with lots of SUN…then I’ll be ready for Fall!
We received a large order of Sigg reusuable water bottles on Thursday and there are some beautiful new Spring designs available now! Lots of you have been asking about Envirosax bags too, and our next large order is scheduled to arrive in March. I can’t say enough good stuff about the reusuable shopping bags. It’s such a great feeling to go to the store and have the cashier say, “paper or plastic?” and whip out your beautiful Envirosax and say, “no thanks, I’ve got my own bag.” One person really can make a difference!
Back to the water bottles…no more plastic! I keep one Sigg at the shop and one at home or in my car if I’m running errands or out with the boys. I’m still not drinking 8 glasses of water a day, but having my pretty Sigg bottle is definitely helping me drink more water. Did you guys know that headaches can be caused by dehydration? I’ve noticed since I’ve been drinking more water than I have fewer headaches. Not only that, but your skin feels so much nicer when your body is hydrated. Just say NO to plastic bags and water bottles…it’s easy!
