raplapla doll: Monsieur Tsé-Tsé

$44
Sorry, sold out.

Like the famous tsetse fly, monsieur Tsé-Tsé helps babies fall asleep… but luckily, he doesn’t bite!

Monsieur Tsé-Tsé is made with organic fair-trade cotton. He is light, easy to move about and delicious to nibble on. And above all, he’s super soft.

He lives in an adorable cardboard house decorated by Isabelle Arsenault, a Quebec illustrator.

10% of profits from the sale of this toy go to UNICEF to defend the rights of children.

Monsieur Tsé-Tsé complies with CE safety requirements for products meant for children under 36 months.

Monsieur Tsé-Tsé’s house won the grand prize at Grafika in 2009.

Handmade in Montreal.

25 cm. 100% certified organic fair trade cotton, stuffed with polyester fibre. Embroidered eyes, mouth and heart.

Machine wash in cold water, or by hand. Hang to dry.

As if you need another reason to adopt Monsieur Tsé-Tsé:

When you give a child a raplapla toy, you’re giving them a trusty playmate that will share their ups and downs, follow them wherever they go (a raplapla can squeeze into any space), and keep all their secrets safe (raplaplas are the souls of discretion, maybe that’s why they have such cheeky smiles). Choosing a raplapla is about making a difference.

You will receive an intangible, luxurious gift: the certainty that it was made sweatshop-free with love and tenderness.

Raplaplas are designed to be loved, shared, hugged and tugged, and they are also washable and repairable, so they’ll last a long time. Give them a workout!
